2. Next , we wet the scissors and, using the metal brush or a bristle brush , we scratch the blade and the spring, leaving them very clean . 
3. Once done , dry it well .
4. In case there are small cracks in the blade, we reduce them with a fine tooth file 
5. After that, we have to disinfect it with pharmaceutical alcohol , wet a piece of cotton with it and clean the blade .
6. Finally, we spray the pruning shears with lubricating oil . So that it does not rust, thus extending the useful life of this wonderful gardening tool .

Some tips you should take:

Pruning shears should only be used to cut thin branches so that you can keep them as long as possible, it is very important to use them only for this purpose , because if we try to prune a branch using leverage , what we will do is  Damaging the scissors, so the next time we use them they won't cut well.     

In addition , it is highly recommended to purchase high -quality scissors . It is more expensive, but has a much longer shelf life . Not to mention, spare parts are easy to find .
