What you need to do to achieve occupational safety

Characteristics of safe behavior in the workplace.

Before entering the work area, you should know:

• General safety standards applied by the organization.

• About the use of necessary personal protective equipment (and preparation for its use).
• What are the areas in which you can navigate (and in which you cannot) and how to identify them.

• What are the general guidelines to follow in an emergency?

The company must be informed:

• If chemical products are used in the company, report if you have any type of allergy.
• In environments where dust or gases are present, report if you have asthma.
• If you intend to reach high areas, report whether you experience dizziness.

Working under the influence of psychoactive substances (alcohol/drugs) is unsafe work that puts your safety and the safety of other workers at risk.

While you are at the company you are visiting or working at:

You should note:

• Pictures that show safety instructions and you must respect them.
• Trading of vehicles/machinery.
